After 736 hours in Satisfactory, I returned to the original save where I learned how to build everything badly. This Satisfactory factory cleanup started as a nostalgic tour of tangled belts, strange train stations, floating production lines, and old decisions made by Past Jim.
Then chat noticed the dismantle crates.
Penumbrapro offered 20 gifted subs if I cleaned up every dismantle crate left across the save. Naturally, I accepted before fully understanding the scale of the problem.
The search took me across years of factory construction. I followed train tracks, explored caves, climbed through old infrastructure, and checked boxes scattered across the map. Most of them contained priceless historical treasures such as one cable or two iron plates.
Eventually, only one dismantle crate remained.
Unfortunately, it was trapped beneath the world.
To reach it, I had to learn the Blueprint Designer for the first time. Then I built a hypertube clipping device called WTF M8. When that was not enough, I created WTF M8 Too: Electric Boogaloo and broke through the map again.
From there, I built a foundation ramp through the void until I could finally reach the crate. After all that work, the final prize was three cables.
Still, the challenge was complete. Penumbra delivered the 20 gifted subs, chat celebrated, and the original factory ended the night slightly cleaner than it began.
The factory is still spaghetti. Project Assembly is still unfinished. However, the evidence is now better organized, and the old save proved it still has plenty of stories left.
Look on my spaghetti, ye Mighty, and despair.
