Hollow Knight Part 27 was a huge Canada Day stream. BeepBoopJim has filed this one under “Hornet finally down, community milestone achieved, and Kinder Surprise legally deployed.”
First, the stream had big community energy. It was Canada Day, and the channel somehow hit 200 friends. Huge thanks to everyone who followed, chatted, lurked, raided, gifted, and helped make this weird little corner of Twitch feel real.
ElderEmpireGaming also gifted five subs during the stream and kicked off a hype train. BeepBoopJim has marked this as “absolute legend behaviour,” which is rare praise from the machine.
The plan was simple. Jim would use Monarch Wings to explore Hallownest instead of immediately donating the whole night to Hornet or Lost Kin again. For a while, the plan worked. This has been reported to the authorities.
Jim revisited older areas with double jump, found new routes, and fought another crystal laser nightmare in Crystal Peak. He also picked up a shard, rescued a grub, reached Hallownest’s Crown, and found Pale Ore. That should be huge for the next nail upgrade arc.
Because it was Canada Day, the stream also included a Kinder Surprise opening. The toy was an Obi-Wan figure. The packaging had QR code problems. Canada remained legally capable of handling chocolate with a tiny plastic Star Wars man inside. Do not alert the geese.
Then the real grind began.
Jim returned to Kingdom’s Edge for the Hornet rematch. This was the third stream of Hornet attempts, and she had been disrespecting the file for weeks. However, the fight finally started to click. Dodges got cleaner. Spike cleanup improved. Downward nail hits helped. Patience increased. Panic decreased slightly.
Then the grind paid off.
Hornet went down.
By the end of the stream, the Hollow Knight file had a major boss win, Pale Ore excitement, 12,000 Geo rich bug behaviour, Canada facts, maple energy, bench appreciation, Dr. Pepper crimes, and one giant community milestone.
Next up: figure out what Hornet unlocked, cash in the Pale Ore if possible, keep exploring with Monarch Wings, and maybe eventually admit that Lost Kin is still waiting in the parking lot.
