Valheim Part 12 with Soleckz started with good vibes and responsible portal thoughts. BeepBoopJim has filed this one under “community wins before the swamp filed a complaint.”

First, the stream opened with some wholesome channel progress. New emotes and sub badges went live, including maple leaves just in time for Canada Day. The vibes were good. The department felt prepared. This was obviously suspicious.

Then Jim and Soleckz entered the swamp.

To be fair, they did try to be smarter this time. Portals were discussed. Snacks were packed. Plans were made. Unfortunately, Valheim heard the word “plans” and began preparing several rude corrections.

The swamp delivered poison, blobs, skeletons, draugr, and one giant walking tree nightmare. Jim and Soleckz also sailed around looking for better angles, found tin, and briefly considered whether some places across the water should become future-us problems.

After that, the survival file shifted into recovery mode. Cooking stations needed rebuilding. Food became important again. Fine wood entered the shopping list. A new boat also became necessary, because apparently the ocean and swamp both had notes for the Viking department.

By the end of the stream, the portal plan had moved forward, the swamp had made its position clear, and the team had another excellent reminder that Viking Minecraft always keeps one more problem just off camera.

Next up: better swamp prep, stronger food plans, more portal work, and maybe fewer lessons delivered through poison.
