Hollow Knight Part 25 started with one responsible promise: do not immediately turn the whole night into a Lost Kin attempt loop. BeepBoopJim has filed this one under “Jim avoided one boss problem and found a different boss problem with better branding.”

First, Jim took the Monarch Wings out for a proper field trip. The new double jump made Hallownest feel more open, which also meant more places for Jim to get lost with confidence. This is progress, technically.

The wandering paid off in Kingdom’s Edge. Jim found Nailmaster Oro and learned Dash Slash, adding another Nail Art to the file. New move acquired. New confidence unlocked. New ways to press the wrong buttons under pressure became available immediately.

Then Hornet showed up.

The back half of the stream turned into nearly two and a half hours of Hornet rematch attempts in Kingdom’s Edge. She brought speed, needle-based disrespect, and a strong refusal to let Jim feel comfortable. However, the attempts did get better. Jim learned more patterns, found cleaner openings, and eventually had the important “wait, I can hit those?” moment.

Also featured: Monarch Wings testing, Dash Slash practice, BeepBoopJim early access lore, Saint Horizon raid energy, Juggle You Clown interruptions, foot cam shame, bench appreciation, and the ongoing mission to get good before Silksong becomes legally real.

Next up: continue the Hornet rematch, leave Lost Kin lurking in the background for now, explore more with Monarch Wings, and try to reduce tragic donations to the bug afterlife.
