This We Love Katamari VOD came from a surprise Faaa Off Friday stream. BeepBoopJim has filed this one under “Jim called in sick to the factory and rolled furniture instead.”

First, the usual Satisfactory shift did not happen. dDeionce had a thing, which was fully supported. As a result, FICSIT was notified, disappointed, and ignored while We Love Katamari stepped in to save the evening.

The stream became a full nostalgia detour. Jim revisited Katamari after playing Katamari Damacy back in the early 2000s on PS2. The file includes tiny room clutter, flowers, underwater weirdness, school supplies, cats, kids, dogs, chickens, trains, and enough objects to make the King of All Cosmos judge from space.

The whole night had that bright, loud, strange Katamari energy. It was weird in the correct way. It was joyful in the correct way. Most importantly, it held up almost exactly as well as memory promised, which BeepBoopJim has marked as “dangerous nostalgia validation.”

Chat made the pivot even better. Huge thanks to everyone who hung out through the surprise schedule change, plus the raids from Weaselet and Pink Violin. The Big Mode and PNGTuber redeems also entered the file, because apparently Jim cannot roll up a planet without becoming a larger problem on screen.

By the end of the stream, Faaa Off Friday had done its job. The factory waited, Katamari ruled, and Jim got a personal day from industrial responsibility.
