Graveyard Keeper Part 4 put Jim back on the medieval cemetery shift after a little time away. BeepBoopJim filed this one under β€œPast Jim left no documentation and the donkey remains unionized.”

First, Jim had to remember what he had been doing. The church was open, Snake was somewhere in the basement, carrots were growing, and the donkey still refused to deliver corpses.

Honestly, the strike helped. Graveyard Keeper immediately supplied about forty other jobs instead.

The garden quickly became one of the biggest projects of the night. Jim met the Merchant, gained access to more land, and picked up requests for carrots, cabbages, and beets. Soon, that job also sent him into the swamp looking for Hiccup Grass.

Naturally, the grass created another problem.

The search introduced a fortune teller, a mysterious curse, and yet another request to find a cure. Apparently, cemetery management also includes farming, herbal medicine, and relationship counselling.

Meanwhile, the workyard kept improving. Jim made simple and complex iron parts, cut wooden planks, and upgraded the cooking table. He also built a church workbench and started working out the study table.

That led to one especially useful discovery: studying items can consume them.

Excellent.

Still, the science system finally started making more sense. Blue technology points began appearing, paper production opened up, and river sand gained several new uses. Jim also kept the furnaces supplied with iron and firewood.

Exploration pushed farther into the swamp and northern parts of the map. Along the way, Jim found iron deposits, a mountain of coal, bats, mushrooms, river sand, and a mine full of toxic gas. Several other routes remained firmly in the Future Jim department.

Then fishing entered the file.

Jim found the fisherman and started unlocking the fishing quest. Unfortunately, getting a rod required moths. This naturally turned into a longer chat about real fishing, seafood, and growing up around a Nova Scotia fishing community.

However, the true boss fight of Graveyard Keeper Part 4 was much simpler.

Jim needed seeds.

After checking the village, wheat farm, mill, bee area, and an impressive amount of medieval private property, he finally found the seed vendor. Carrot, beet, wheat, and cabbage seeds entered the inventory.

At last, the Great Seed Crisis of 2026 ended.

Jim returned home, dug new garden beds, and expanded the farm properly. By the end, the Merchant quest had moved forward, Hiccup Grass had been delivered, and farming looked much healthier.

The church also had a new workbench. Science and paper were opening up. New resource areas had been discovered, and fishing was beginning to make sense.

Very few people were actually buried.

Still, BeepBoopJim has reviewed the paperwork and confirmed that this somehow counts as a productive cemetery shift.
