Hollow Knight Part 34 started with almost no plan and somehow became one of the biggest progress nights yet. BeepBoopJim filed this one under “bug NFTs liquidated, multiple bosses removed, and The Turns upgraded.”
First, Jim kept exploring the City of Tears and finally discovered Relic Seeker Lemm. Apparently, the mysterious bug pawn shop had been waiting for him for roughly 34 streams.
Naturally, Jim had been carrying a small museum in his pockets. Wanderer’s Journals, Hallownest Seals, King’s Idols, and Arcane Eggs all became Geo. Meanwhile, Lemm supplied plenty of Hallownest lore.
As a result, irresponsible hoarding suddenly became financial planning.
Then Jim wandered upward and accidentally found the Watcher Knights.
The first attempt went badly, which felt appropriate. However, a gentle tip from Ooperlini revealed the hidden route above the arena. Jim dropped the chandelier and reduced the fight from six knights to five.
The remaining five still had opinions.
After that, the fight became a proper grind. Jim worked on Shade Cloak timing, panic healing, positioning, and avoiding corners full of rolling bugs. Eventually, the movement started to click.
Watcher Knights went down.
That victory opened the route farther up Watcher’s Spire. Jim reached Lurien the Watcher and removed another Dreamer seal. Consequently, the story moved forward in a huge way while explaining almost nothing about what Jim should actually do next.
Later, the tram carried Jim back toward Ancient Basin. Finally, it was time to acknowledge Lost Kin, who had been waiting patiently in the parking lot for several streams.
This time, Jim changed the approach. Instead of repeatedly throwing his face at the boss, he experimented with charms.
Defender’s Crest became the breakthrough. Stinky Boy mode helped clear the annoying infection ghosts and created much safer healing windows. Suddenly, the fight felt manageable.
Then Lost Kin went down too.
To finish the night, Jim returned to the Nailsmith with enough Pale Ore and Geo for another upgrade. The Nail became the Coiled Nail, making The Turns significantly more dangerous to whatever Hallownest throws at him next.

Next up: test the Coiled Nail, follow the Lurien and Dreamer progress, revisit some old problem areas, and find out what Hallownest expects The Turns to do now.
