Hollow Knight Part 23 started with the bold and legally questionable promise of “speed running lol.” BeepBoopJim has reviewed the claim and determined that after 22 streams and about 61 hours, Jim may still beat Hollow Knight in under 200 hours. Progress has many shapes.
First, Jim started from Ancient Basin with a Dreamgate he still did not understand. There was also an unlocked tram from last week and a loose plan to pretend this was a route. Naturally, the route became exploration almost immediately.
The tram pushed Jim into new territory and eventually led to Kingdom’s Edge. The map was missing, the enemies were weird, the bees were suspicious, and Jim kept making Geo like a responsible little bug with no financial trauma whatsoever.
Then the Colosseum of Fools entered the file. Jim opened the Trial of the Warrior, found Zote the Mighty being Zote the Mighty, located a blessed bench, and decided to “find out.” The Colosseum responded with combat practice, pain, and enough quick Geo recovery to make the whole thing look like strategy.
After that, Jim looped back through City of Tears and checked in near the Memorial to the Hollow Knight. A Simple Key led him into the Royal Waterways, which were gross, loud, confusing, and full of enemies making noises he did not enjoy. Perfect Hollow Knight content.
Eventually, Jim found and defeated the big fluke boss. That unlocked the Flukenest charm. Then he tracked down Cornifer for the Royal Waterways map, immediately accused the map of being bad, and requested a refund.
Also featured: suspicious map reading, Geo stacking, Cornifer’s siren song, “The JAWN” side quest for live viewers, and chat keeping Jim mostly pointed in a direction.
Next up: explore more with the Royal Waterways map, remember the Colosseum exists, maybe use Dreamgate on purpose, and continue turning confusion into progress before Silksong becomes real.
